Ausiello spoilers! 1/31/07

This was taken from http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ask-Ausiello/default.aspx

Question: Thanks for all your info on Gilmore Girls in last week's AA! But after getting our hopes up that the season could end with Luke and Lorelai married and expecting a baby, how likely is that?— Christina
Ausiello: A week ago I would've said it was fairly likely. But this week? Not so likely. (Spoiler alert) Shortly after my item ran, a Gilmore insider (who asked not to be identified for fear of unemployment), confided to me that the engagement/pregnancy plot has been scaled back. "They will not be that far along in a relationship [by May]," my spy revealed. "There will be progress, but she won't be pregnant or engaged in the season or series finale — as of now."

Question: So, Lauren Graham is going to be a producer on Gilmore Girls Have Scott Patterson and Paul Anka started sending out their resumes yet?— Karri
Ausiello: Oh, no you di'nt.

New General Spoilers

I got this info. from http://crazy-internet-people.com/site/gilmoregirls/index.html

Lorelai and Luke WILL get back together. It is unknown when. Also if there is a season 8, it is unsure if they will even be together because Scott is being difficult about signing on for another year.

Lauren Graham "Producer" -"Graham made no secret of her desire to see her Gilmore role expand. 'I would like to be a producer on the show, but that's not anything [Warner Bros.] is gonna let me do,' she said at the time. 'I think, at this point, any request [might lead to a] 'Well, if you want something then we want an eighth season' kind of thing."
Chris moves out by 7:15...Babette sees the moving van.

During a studio tour someone found this information. "Rory receives a call from the New York times about a job.... Gigi's crap was still in the living room.... everybody wanted another season except Alexis who still wasn't sure, but without her there probably won't be one." - "flat screen was mounted between the fireplace and the stairs" - "it didn't really look like she was moving stuff" - "remembering chin chin" sign outside the CS -

"Jackson did not have his vasectomy in season five. He did not go through with it and failed to tell Sookie." -

Studio Tour - "Rory and Lorelai walking through the town square, dress ing long coats, Connecticut spring, Rory on the phone, happy squeal at the end, Male director" Should be doing episode 16 until about Feb 5 -
"Cameron Bender Booked a Recurring Guest Star on GILMORE GIRLS" -

TVGuide Podcast - Jan 26, 2007 - "DM: But it’s interesting; is there a scenario for if Lauren Graham is not around? Or… MA: No. If Lauren Graham doesn’t come back, then there’s no show.

Studio Tour - "...Luke's boat is no longer in Lorelai's garage. The garage was pretty much empty.... Happy to say it was moved to be worked on, so hopefully we will see it in an episode soon. And the chuppah was moved over to the side of the yard where it is supposed to be." - - also "...they were filming today on the Yale soundstage. Alexis and Matt were both there, though of course we couldn't go in.One new set on that stage is a new apartment for Logan, according to our guide." - and "The chuppah looked bad still, worn and poor Gilbert still has a broken leg."

Lots of new spoilers!! 1/24/07

This portion of the spoilers was taken from http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ask-Ausiello/default.aspx (Michael Ausiello)

Question: You've been stingy with Gilmore Girls scoop lately. Tell the truth: Is it because you got in trouble after Whispergate?— Christina
Ausiello: Me? In trouble? Pshaw. Next to Isaiah Washington's Golden Globes meltdown, Whispergate was the best thing to happen to my career. I thank the gods every day for giving me the gift of Whispergate. Heck, if it wasn't for all the increased visibility that Whispergate brought me, a heavily imbedded Gilmore Girls source probably wouldn't have come up to me at press tour and revealed that (Massive spoiler alert) David Rosenthal is seriously considering ending the season (or series?) with Lorelai and Luke not only married but expecting a baby. Which leads me to my next piece of scoop….

Question: Great job at the Globes, but you've been very negligent with Gilmore Girls recently. Please give us some more scoop that doesn't involve the death of a pet!— Grace
Ausiello: Fair enough. The buzz in Stars Hollow is that the key to an eighth season may rest in Alexis Bledel's petite hands. Unlike Lauren Graham, who appears to be somewhat amenable to the idea of continuing on for another year, Bledel is proving a tougher sell. As a result, Warner Bros. and the CW are allegedly developing a Plan B that would focus an eighth season on Lorelai, Luke and their new baby, with the occasional sweeps-month guest appearance by Rory. Wow, that sounds like a disaster.

Question: Do you know how Gilmore Girls plans to deal with Melissa McCarthy's pregnancy?— Katherine
Ausiello: Scoop! They're dealing with it by making Sookie pregnant for a third time. Not sure how Dave R. is gonna pull that one off, considering Jackson had that vasectomy and all. Maybe Taylor's the daddy? I kid. I kid.

Question: Any news about Milo and Alexis getting back together?— Esther Ortiz
Ausiello: Clearly, someone didn't watch my red-carpet interview with Milo. (On the off chance your computer lacks video capabilities, Milo confirmed that they are not back together.)

Gigi is back in this episode

General spoilers (about the C&L&L triangle)

NEW - "i can confirm that it was planned from the beginning on" -(I believe this is in regards to the idea of C&L splitting up)

NEW - I wanted to confirm (because I was just told) that Loreali indeed initiates the End of Our National Nightmare. Otherwise known as her marriage to Christopher. It's not a mutual decision. -
...for all intent and purposes, in Lorelai's heart and mind, it's over in 713 -
"It was never an AHA! moment, more like a culmination of what she's been beginning to understand during the last few episodes, or actually since she came home from France. In 713 she finally admits it to herself." -

Podcast spoilers (1/7/06)

This info. was taken from http://crazy-internet-people.com/site/gilmoregirls/index.html which got the info. from the TV Guide podcast (1/5/07) with Michael Ausiello

"Luke was the one who was there when she needed him"

- "The funny death it's not kirk or PA... but it's close. NO one will care, but it will be funny." -

"Lorelai going into the diner again. He said it'll be a big moment, but I can't tell if that's his personal opinion or a fact" (I am not exactly sure who the "he" is, but its probably Michael Ausiello or David Rosenthal)

"There’s other factors, yeah. Initially I thought it was gonna be, like, a major epiphany; it’s not. Really, she just uhm, I think, sees Luke maybe in a whole new light and Christopher when Richard gets sick, because Luke is the one who really steps up and is there for the family, Emily specifically. Christopher, however, is off sulking about a fight that he had with Lorelai, so she’s trying to get a hold of him all day, and he’s not around. So really, Luke was the one who was there when she needed him, (This is about episode 13: I'd Rather be in Philadelphia)

Turning up unexpectedly at the inn, Luke (Scott Patterson) asks Lorelai to write a character recommendation letter for his custody battle over April (Vanessa Marano).
